UU Nashua will be hosting a Window Dressers community build event 11/5/26 – 11/11/26. We have a lot of teams to form and work to do between May and October to prepare. There are two different types of volunteer categories.

• Nashua Area Community Build Team member – These are the core volunteers who organize and run the Nashua Build event 11/5/26 – 11/11/26. This includes volunteer coordinators, measuring team members, community outreach, build event planning and logistics.
• Participate in a shift at the Nashua Area Build Event 11/5/26 – 11/11/26. Registrations for shifts at the build event will open in July.

Community Outreach
Help spread the word about the program, connect with neighbors and community groups, and answer basic questions. Need help starting April / May 2026.

Nashua Area Home Measuring Team
Work in pairs to visit homes and measure windows before inserts are built. Need help starting May – Sept 2026.

Data & Scheduling
Help organize measurements and orders by entering data and assisting with scheduling. Need help starting May – Sept 2026.

Participate in a shift at the Nashua Area Build Event

Everyone receiving window inserts is expected to participate in a shift in the build event. The UU Nashua Window Dressers community build event is planned for 11/5/26 – 11/11/26 and held at 58 Lowell St, Nashua, NH. During the hands-on build event, supervised volunteers make the window inserts from pre cut parts — assembling frames, attaching plastic, and quality checking. The build event is organized into 4 hour shifts (with a morning shift and an afternoon shift. Lunch is provided in between). Registrations for shifts at the build event will open in July. In the mean time you can share your interest on the form below.

Hospitality Team

Welcome volunteers at the Nashua Area build event and help coordinate snacks, coffee, and a friendly atmosphere. Need help starting Oct / Nov 2026.
