Typically $45–$50 per window. Community-supported pricing allows qualifying households to receive up to 10 inserts at little or no cost. To receive window inserts, participation in the Nashua Area build event is required.

A Community Partnership
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashua (UU Nashua) is partnering with WindowDressers, a New England nonprofit, to bring this hands-on energy-saving program to the Nashua area. Hundreds of homes across New England have already used Window Dressers inserts to stay warmer and lower heating bills. The Nashua Area build event is planned for 11/5/26 – 11/11/26. Volunteer teams are now forming and in home window measurements and orders will begin starting in May.
WindowDressers Insulating Window Inserts let in light while stopping drafts. Each insert is made of a custom-made pine frame wrapped on each side with tightly-sealed, clear polyolefin film, creating an airspace between the two layers for additional insulation. The insert is finished with a compressible foam gasket. The foam allows enough give for the inserts to be easily slid into place in the fall and removed in the spring, while holding firmly enough to provide a tight, friction-based seal. The inserts are installed inside of your existing window frame with no fasteners required.
